Delete your ChessKite account
You can delete your ChessKite account and its data at any time.
In the app (fastest)
- Open ChessKite and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Tap it again to confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately.
Without the app
Email bestmanismurali@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my ChessKite account". Include your username or, if you signed in with Google, send the email from that Google address so we can find the account.
We will delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your account, and your Google sign-in link if you used one
- Your username, country, rating, streaks and puzzle counts
- All your puzzle, Daily and timed-run results, including leaderboard entries
- Your friends list, and your place on other players' friends lists
Nothing is kept afterwards. Service providers' short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses in server logs) expire on their own schedule, usually within days.
Signing out is not deleting: a signed-out account is kept so you can sign back in. See also the privacy policy.
